When we find ourselves in conflict with our neighbour, as far as it depends on us we are to advance peace.
Being committed to God’s true good for our neighbour means we are responsible to them but not for them.
Being a neighbour is being an agent in His Majesty’s service, giving witness to His love and truth, in winsome word and good deed so that God is praise.
The expert in the Old Testament Law asked “Who is my neighbour?” to which Jesus responded by telling the Parable of the Good Samaritan. The question Jesus substitutes is “Who is being the neighbour?”
