Sunday services will now be both in-person and online.
Provincial guidelines mandate that the number of people at a religious gathering does not exceed 30% of the building’s capacity and that physical distancing practices be observed. To help us follow those guidelines we are asking all attendees to pre-register for an in-person church service.
Wearing an appropriate face covering while attending our Sunday service is required by the City of Hamilton. Please provide your own face covering and wear it while you are in the building. Single-use face coverings are available if you arrive on Sunday without one. They can be obtained in the foyer.
The first row of parking and the drop-off and pick-up lane will be closed. This will provide us with an outdoor ‘plaza’ for visiting. Please leave the second row of parking for those who require accessible parking.
The pew seat cushions have been marked with ‘green’ signs and ‘red’ signs. The ‘green’ indicates a spot where one can sit. Just pick up the sign, sit down and put the sign in the pew rack. The ‘red’ signs indicate seat locations that are unavailable. Please don’t sit in a red zone.
The main washrooms and the accessible washroom will be open. You will find surface cleaning products in those washrooms for personal use.
Concerning religious gatherings, the Ministry of Health’s advice is to suspend indoor singing, the sharing of food and drink, and children’s programming.
The registration process involves some public health screening questions. If you answer ‘yes’ to one or more of those questions then please do not attend an in-person service but watch the service online via our YouTube channel.
