Mary Conway will be leading a Sunday Seminar on Judges.
Judges is NOT a book about idealized heroes! It is full of “murder and mayhem.” However, its treatment of weak leadership, violence, war, the struggle for survival, conflict within and among families and people groups, and the tendency to absorb the values of the surrounding culture make it especially relevant to our contemporary society. We, too, struggle to live faithful lives in difficult circumstances. Join us if you are interested in learning more about the Bible and its significance for today.
Everyone is welcome to participate in a study of the Old Testament.
